Gutter installation is the new-system tier: first-time gutters on homes that never had them or had partial coverage, additions and outbuildings, and new-construction scope. Done right, it starts with engineering, not aluminum — because a gutter system that overflows in a storm is a failed gutter system, no matter how clean it looks from the curb.

Drainage design comes before anything is cut: roof plan area, pitch factor, and local rainfall intensity determine gutter width, downspout count, and downspout placement. Then we roll-form continuous seamless runs on-site to your home's exact dimensions — no mid-run seams to leak — hang them at engineered slope, and plan the discharge: splash blocks, extensions, or tie-ins to buried drains. As part of a larger build or exterior remodel, installation is a natural general-contractor line item alongside fascia, soffit, and roof-edge metal, sequenced so each component supports the next instead of fighting it.

Oklahoma City receives roughly 36 inches of rain a year — but the annual total is the wrong number to design for. The rain arrives in intense convective bursts: the same supercells that drop hail drop inches-per-hour rates that overwhelm undersized systems in minutes. That's why we default larger on big or steep roofs — 6-inch K-style over 5-inch, 3×4-inch downspouts over 2×3 — using the same professional sizing standards as our replacement work. Gutters collect roof water — they don't carry it across a badly graded lot. If your yard drains toward the house, gutters alone over-promise: grading correction, French drains, or foundation drains have to carry the water away, and promising foundation protection without them would be selling you half a system.
